As the gaming industry continues to grow, more and more countries are starting to produce their own unique and innovative games. One such country is Bangladesh, where a small but passionate community of game developers are making their mark. We had the opportunity to sit down with one of these local game developers in Dhaka, Nasir Ahmed, to learn more about his journey and experiences in the industry.
Nasir has been involved in the game development scene in Dhaka for over 7 years now. He started off as a solo developer working on small mobile games, and has since grown to be a part of a team creating high quality PC and console games. When asked about the challenges of being a game developer in Dhaka, Nasir explains that while the industry is still in its infancy in Bangladesh, the community is incredibly supportive and always pushes each other to improve. However, lack of resources and government support are still hurdles that they have to overcome. Despite these challenges, Nasir remains optimistic and passionate about the potential of the gaming industry in Bangladesh.
